What we think about ourselves dictates our day.

Let me break it down.

I had a problem accepting all of the negative thoughts about myself. I mean anything that
came into my mind, I accepted as the GOSPEL TRUTH! I never questioned the origin of these thoughts, rather accepted them as FACTS!

This negative mentality totally caused me to be defeated in my personal life, which spilled into
every area of my life. I was so sick of being sick and tired. I knew I needed help. I had to get outta my own head.

So, I invested in myself.

I started reading books, got a health and wellness, success coach and nutrition coach to assist me and to
help me process my thoughts and feelings to prevent me from self-sabotaging and reduce my anxiousness.

I’ll give you a classic example. The bless it SCALE!

I was a chronic offender of getting on the scale and allowing it to rule my life. I finally made a decision to only weigh myself once a week for my own sanity. I have even now decided to only weigh myself after each program I complete
through my workout plan.

At first, I was totally lost. I didn’t know what to do with my time…lol. I had to fill it with something to keep my mind off of the scale, so I started journaling. I noticed that my mind and emotions regulated. Spirituality  gives you the freedom to do whatever you feel in finding your way of connecting yourself to get peace.

I am a Christian so I pray, but I also meditate too. I have created a space in my home office for my quiet time. I light a candle and just quiet my mind.

You would be surprised how much peace you can have throughout the day if you spend a few minutes just praying, journaling and meditating. I also read affirmations, the bible and quotes to help strengthen my mind. I have realized the weight is my teacher. It is here to teach me more about myself. Once I accepted that it totally changed
my perspective about losing weight.

What I can tell you is since I have adopted this method the weight has been falling off. I lost 40 pounds last year, just by changing the way I think. I hope this is helpful to someone.

The bottom line is this:

WE ARE AMAZING HUMANS THAT HAVE A DESTINY AND A PURPOSE TO PURSUE! DO NOT LET ANYONE INCLUDING YOURSELF STAND IN THE WAY!

Always remember

“It’s only a thought and a thought can be changed.” ~ Louise Hay
