Hello, my name is L. Nicole (Nyckki) Cervantes, MSW. I am a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Results Transformational Speaker/Coach, Adjunct Professor and retired Children’s Social Worker from The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (with 25 years in the field of Social Work). I graduated with my M.S.W. in Social Work, phi kappa phi, from California State University Long Beach and my thesis focused on incarcerated youth, At-risk youth: Mental Health Services and Treatment: A Systematic Review of the Literature and penned my first novel: The Butterfly Chronicles: The Journey of a Radical Transformation (2017).
I was born a warrior and through all of my life experiences have transformed into a conqueror. I am a survivor of various aspects of severe trauma and abuse. However, I am not a victim rather victorious as I stand ON my story. I have been blessed beyond measure by God and preserved in the face of many horrific obstacles to live out my dreams, ordained anointed and appointed assignments. Currently, I study at a platinum level, under my mentor, personal and business coach Lisa Nichols. Ms. Nichols is one of the world’s most requested transformational speaker’s and has served over 57 different countries and 36 million people. I teach directly from the results produced in her life from Lisa’s teaching. I am DEDICATED to daily inspire, empower, motivate and encourage others to make peace with their journey (past, present and future) through sharing my faith, transparency, humor, support and positivity. I stand boldly planted against every statistic that said I would be a product of my environment! Nothing is impossible with God! My husband Anthony and I reside in Santa Clarita, California with our adult son Isaiah, six-year-old daughter, Gabriella, and cat, Reese.
